To complete the creative research and exploration phases of a project on colour and its relation to space and place within a Canadian landscape. I will be working through a series of exploratory stages, which will lead to the creation of a place-based colour archive. Through the creative process of this project I will be on a quest to learn the spatial language of colour.

This grant is supporting the continuation of the project LIMINAL SPACE | | AWASITIPAHASKAN, which is about the borders (in all meanings) of First Nations reserves in Alberta.
What already exists of the project is a glimpse into this boundless landscape. There are still so many stories and truths to hear and so many teachings to grasp. The project needs to stretch and push itself towards the edges of these liminal borders, where we can unearth and recover a once trusted and balanced relationship.
