The creation of bee hotels for Explore Edmonton’s Responsible Events Program. These bee hotels are designed to support the local solitary bee populations, providing them with an inviting and safe space to lay their eggs. Using collected driftwood from the Edmonton river valley, holes are drilled into the driftwood to the exact size the solitary bees (specific to this location) prefer for their nests.
